The Oconee County Sheriff’s Foundation has played a pivotal role in transforming the Sheriff’s Office by fostering stronger integration and engagement with the community. Through our initiatives, we have created meaningful opportunities for the department to connect more effectively with the citizens it serves. Additionally, the foundation has been instrumental in securing vital assets and resources that enhance public safety, ensuring our community remains not only secure but also prosperous. Thanks to the foundation’s dedicated efforts, both the Sheriff’s Office and the community are in a significantly stronger position, reflecting the true impact of our mission.

Appreciation
Because of the foundation, the Sheriff's office is able to demonstrate their appreciation to their officers with an annual Appreciation Dinner.
Academy
The Police Academy is difficult! The Foundation is able to send care packages to encourage our new recruits.
Citizen's Police Academy
The Citizen's Police Academy allows the community to learn all about the OCSO.
Community Outreach
Through the foundation, the OCSO is able to host community events and meals.

We work with the Sheriff's Office to provide vital resources to keep our officers and schools safe.
